The journey follows an original Inca route, offering spectacular views and a deep connection with local communities. The experience includes an overnight stay at Huchuy Qosqo Lodge and ends in the Sacred Valley, making it an excellent alternative to the classic Inca Trail.

Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco – Tauca – High Mountain Pass – Pucamarca – Huchuy Qosqo
Departure from Cusco at approximately 7:00 a.m., traveling by private transport to the Tauca community (3,800 m), where the trek begins.
After about 1.5 hours of hiking, we reach the highest point of the trek at 4,428 m, enjoying panoramic views of the Andean landscape. From here, we begin a continuous descent toward the community of Pucamarca, following an original Inca trail.
Along the way, we enjoy spectacular mountain scenery before reaching Pucamarca, where we share a lunch with the local community. After lunch, we continue walking toward the impressive archaeological site of Huchuy Qosqo, arriving in the afternoon.
Overnight at Huchuy Qosqo Lodge.
Day 2: Huchuy Qosqo – Lamay – Cusco
After breakfast, we depart from Huchuy Qosqo Lodge and begin our descent toward Lamay, located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Upon arrival in Lamay, our private transportation will be waiting to take us back to Cusco, with drop-off at your hotel, concluding the trek.
