Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco – Q’eswachaka Rope Bridge – Rainbow Mountain
03:30 a.m. – Early morning pickup from your hotel in Cusco in private transportation.
Travel toward the province of Canas to visit the Q’eswachaka Rope Bridge, an impressive suspension bridge made of woven grass, rebuilt every year by local communities using ancestral Inca techniques. This site represents a spectacular example of Inca engineering still in use today.
After exploring the bridge and surrounding landscapes, the journey continues back toward the route to the Rainbow Mountain.
Enjoy a breakfast in Pitumarca, followed by the excursion toward the colorful mountain area. Along the way, admire stunning Andean scenery before reaching the viewpoint of Rainbow Mountain, famous for its naturally vibrant mineral colors.
Later, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then begin the return journey to Cusco.
Approximately 06:00 p.m. – Arrival in Cusco and end of the tour.
